Summer Skills Sessions

By WCIHL Board 06/12/2020, 7:00pm CDT

WCIHL is happy to announce that we are reopening!

We have been working diligently with the WCPRD to develop a plan for our league to safely return to the rink. Our guidelines are aligned with the CDC and Kentucky COVID-19 recommendations for reopening and have been approved by the WCPRD. We ask that you and your player review these guidelines. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us via email board [at]

We have posted the first sign-up sheet for the skills sessions the week of June 15-19. We ask that bantam and squirts only sign up for no more than 2 sessions to allow everyone an opportunity to play.

Cick Here to view the sign up sheet

We will post another sign-up sheet for the skills session, Saturday, June 20, for the week of June 22-26.

See you at the rink!

Spring Season Canceled :(

By WCIHL Board 04/04/2020, 12:45pm CDT

WCIHL Players and Families,

With the recent ongoing events concerning the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of the 2020 Spring season.

Our hope is that we will resume in the fall, and keep the same teams intact as much as possible. With that said, those who plan to play in the fall may roll over their registration cost. Those who wish to receive a refund now, please email the league at

Refunds that are given will be your fee minus $25 per child (cost of player’s jersey). If you have rented hockey equipment, simply hang onto it until further notice.

We appreciate your patience during these uncertain times and hope you and your family stay safe in the coming months. Have a great summer, and we’ll see you back in the fall!

***Hockey pictures will be mailed out next week***

The Rolling Bluegrass was representing WCIHL in the ECHO Winter Classic last weekend in Snellville, GA. On the team was John Klein, Chas Brassell, Nathan Larkin, Sam Barefoot, Matthew Klein, Sam Barefoot, and Mason Clark and was coached by Jennifer Whittamore.  In their first game, they defeated Music City 7-4, then lost 5-0 to McDonough Gamblers, and then lost 4-1 to Snellville Fire.
